Islamic calligraphy is one of the essential elements in decorative Islamic art. ‘An Introduction to Islamic Calligraphy’ exhibition examines the historical developments in the design of both religious and everyday arts and crafts. The artefacts displayed in this exhibition provide an overview of the exquisite workmanship of calligraphy executed in manuscripts, ceramics, metal works, textiles and other materials.
