The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is collaborating with the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines to organise a special event entitled, 'Islam: Weaving Stories and Art in the Philippines. This is in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and the Philippines. The lectures by two prominent figures from the Muslim community in the Republic, Minister Hon. Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra and Mr. Al-Nezzar Bin Ali, will foster historical and cultural understanding about the rich Islamic heritage that both the Philippines and Malaysia share.
