Marketing & Events Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning and delivery of the marketing strategy and work with the Director to implement further developments when necessary.
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction and support to marketing team.
• Works with marketing team to develop detailed marketing plans and communicates with various media channels to help marketing projects come to fruition.
• Represent the marketing department in cross-functional teams whose work contributes to a successful exhibition, programme or activity.
• Promote and expand the IAMM products and products; that are museum exhibitions and educational activities and programmes, F&B and souvenir shop. Require to provide in-depth information to interest clients.
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market and generate interest.
• Oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website and social media content, advertisement and other marketing-related projects.
• Management and organizational skills needed to oversee facilities and manage all event details such as décor, catering, invitee list, special guest, equipment, promotional material etc.
• To do night tour for VIP visitor as requested by Management.
• Follow-through and willingness to conduct pre-and post-event evaluations, reporting on the outcomes.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.

Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Studies, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 7 years(s) of related working experience.
• Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent time management and able to work unpredictable hours.
• Superb interpersonal leadership skill with ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English & Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
• Customer-service orientation; with problem-solving skills.
