Join us for an interactive and creative Batik Shawl Workshop at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the art of batik-making and explore the beauty of Malay textile heritage through designing and creating their own batik shawl. Led by our Education team, this session introduces basic sketching, waxing, and colouring techniques. It is designed for beginners and welcomes participants to explore creativity in a guided and structured setting.
This workshop offers a meaningful experience for participants of all levels to appreciate the artistry and cultural value of batik within the Malay world.
