The IAMM Children’s Library, located at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, hosts engaging, educational sessions every Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 PM, designed for children aged 4 to 12 years old.
Whether your child enjoys stories, crafts, culture, or performance arts, our weekend programs are a great way to spend family time — and they’re completely free!
Saturdays: Storytelling & Art and Craft Workshop for Kids
Every Saturday starts with storytelling session at 3:00 PM, followed by a fun and creative art and craft workshop.

Family-Friendly Sunday Screening: Wayang Kulit
On Sundays, the library hosts a Sunday Screening, where you can watch a 15-minute recorded wayang kulit (shadow puppet) performance in Malay and English and also learn more about the artefacts at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia.
The stories presented are taken from fables, folktales, legends and influential literature that are adapted to suit young audiences — a unique way to introduce children to traditional Malay storytelling and heritage.
Screening begins promptly at 3:00 PM, so arrive early!
