Job Description:
- Taking customers’ order, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization and delivering/serve food and beverages to the right customer and table.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
- Ensure all service procedures are adhered to and carries out.
- To check the appearance, cleanliness and proper set up of the restaurant and its related areas.
- To ensure that lighting and room temperature of the restaurant is always at established levels.
- To ensure that damaged equipment, cutleries and crockery are not put back in use.
- To ensure that equipment, crockery, glassware and cutleries are enough for functions and restaurant use.
- To look after the equipment and tools such as cutlery and crockery.
- To have complete knowledge of food and beverages served in the restaurant and are served accordance to the serving procedure.
- To have knowledge on preparation of beverages recipe served in restaurant.
- To answer phones and take reservation whenever needed.
- To maintain communication and a sound working relationship within F&B department and other department.
- To be in charge of the movement of linen.
- Any other duties as instructed by the Head Chef/Assistant Manager/Supervisor as and when required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Work six days a week from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with overtime as and when needed based on events.
Requirements:
- SPM holder
- Good communication in Malay and English
- Good customer service
- Able to work on roster.
- Related working experience will be an advantage.
