As one of the educators on Islamic arts in Malaysia, IAMM’s Education Department is committed by serving the public with activities and programmes related to the learning of Islamic arts and civilisation. With that aspiration IAMM held an exhibition dedicated for Education Department as well as the Children Library. The exhibition aimed to highlight the library collection which houses about 4000 books on various subjects such as Islamic arts, architecture, history, science and many more.
On the other hand, it will also display the object of kids’ creativity from Weekend Workshop; a handmade craft according to the weekly theme. The Weekend Workshop allows children to spend time in the Children Library and enjoy two hours session of storytelling and craft-making session. Besides the library activities, it will also promote educational activities to public such what has been organized before; Manifestasi Perdana Seni Khat, Art on Canvas, Tadarus (annually during Ramadan) and others.
